    The TEKNI-DRI range of rugged auto-modulating automatic DEHUMIDIFIERS are excellently suited for general humidity control of rooms, factories, laboratories, timber yards, clay bricks and vessel drying.

    OPERATION

    Damp, humid air is drawn through a filter to remove dust and dirt prior to passing through a cooling well where moisture is condensed out and drained into a container.

    The same energy taken from the air in the cooling process is trans-ferred to a heating coil which re-heats the same air to a higher temperature after the initial moisture removal.

    The energy removed from the object during drying, is re-used by the heat pump, to reheat the dry air.

    TEKNI-DRI drying is therefore ac-complished at very low running costs – in the order of 25% of the cost of removing the moisture by other means.

    CONTROLS

    An adjustable humidistat and an on/off switch control the fully automatic machine. Optional extras such as thermo timers, auto defrost cycle and integrated auto controlled heaters are available for specific conditions.

    Installation

    These Dehumidifying machines are completely self-contained and are used in sites where the environment required drying. Only a mains electrical connection is required.

    Condensate is either removed by a hose or the water container provided (with the smaller model DE75).

    TYPICAL SPECIFICATION

    Furnish and install where specified, TEKNIHEAT or equal model [DE…] TEKNI-DRI air dehumidifiers with an operation range of 30-95 % RH

    Units shall be constructed of stainless steel and shall be capable of operating between 0 and 40 deg. C ambient temperature. They shall be fitted with a humidistat adjustable between 20 and 90 % RH and shall have modulating control to maximize condensation rates over the range of operation

    Refrigeration protection shall include Low suction and High head pressure cutouts.

    Optional extras such as trolleys, internal electric heaters; and defrost cycle operation shall be included where specified in the drawings.

    WARRANTY

    Tekniheat warrants this equipment to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of 12 months from plant commissioning or 15 months from date of shipment, whichever is the shorter period. Any units or parts proving defective within this period will be repaired or replaced at our option when returned to our factory transportation charges pre-paid. TEKNIHEAT will not be responsible for any installation or removal costs.
